In a recent Expression of Interest draw through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, Saskatchewan has issued 941 Canadian immigration invitations. 629 invitations were featured by the September 1 draw feature through Saskatchewan’s Occupations In-Demand stream, with the lowest score of 61. Also, the draw featured 312 invitations through the province’s Express Entry stream, needing the lowest score of 61. Those invitations were aimed at the same 10 National Occupational Classification codes as the previous draw, all of them in health-related fields.

Saskatchewan Expression of Interest Process
– Submit your EOI profile.
– Enter the EOI applicant pool.
– EOI applicants are chosen.
– Through regular draws, Invitations to Apply are issued.
– Witin 60 days, applicants submit a full application.
– Applications are assessed by SINP officials who make a decision.
Occupation-In-Demand Sub-Category Requirements
– Score a least 60 points on the SINP points assessment grid;
– Have as a minimum a language score of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4. Employers and authoritarian bodies may ask for advanced;
– Should have one year of post-secondary completed education, guidance or apprenticeship similar to the Canadian education system. You must have received a qualification, diploma or degree. Credentials and diplomas got outside Canada subject to an Educational Credential Assessment;
– Work experience of a minimum of one year in the past 10 years in your education field or training profession. And a qualified professional in NOC A, B, 0.
– Get the proper licensure in Saskatchewan if your field so needs it, as, without the licensure, the system will not process an application.
– Have settlement funds proofs and a settlement arrangement.
– Pay $300, which is a non-refundable application fee online.
The Saskatchewan Express Entry Sub-Category Requirements
Applicants from outside Canada, or with Canadian legal status are eligible for this Saskatchewan immigration category, provided they are not refugee candidates.
As well, candidates have to:
- Have an Express Entry Pool profile, with profile number and job seeker validation code;
- Score at least 60 points on the SINP points assessment grid;
- Provide applicable language examination results from an elected testing organization matching those in the Express Entry profile;
- Should have one year of post-secondary completed education, guidance or apprenticeship similar to the Canadian education system. You must have received a qualification, diploma or degree. Credentials and diplomas got outside Canada subject to an Educational Credential Assessment;
- Have as a minimum one of the following experience needs in your education field or training profession: Work experience of one year in the past 10 years in a skilled occupation (non-trades); work experience of two years in a skilled trade in the past five years; or work experience of one year in Canada in the past three years (trades and non-trades).
- Have a high-skilled, qualified occupation work experience in NOC A, B, 0.
- Get the proper Saskatchewan licence where your occupation is regulated or a skilled job. From the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission, for skilled trades, a license is necessary.
- Have settlement funds proofs and settlement preparation.
- Pay $300, which is a non-refundable application fee online.
