Saskatchewan recently held its new PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) draw on 8th November 2022. In this draw, it issued 35 Canadian immigration invitations in a new expression of interest (EOI). Also, it featured 31 invitations through the Occupation In-Demand and Express Entry Streams that targeted six NOC codes and needed the least score of 69.
An additional four invitations went to an applicant who listed their residence country as Ukraine, as a direct response to the country’s Russian invasion.

Occupation-In-Demand Sub-Category Requirements
- Score at least 60 points on the assessment grid of SINP
- Have a language score of minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4. Companies and supervisory bodies may ask for higher;
- Have completed post-secondary education for one year, training, or internship similar to the Canadian education system. You also should have obtained a diploma, certificate, or degree.
- Degrees and diplomas obtained outside Canada subject to an Educational Credential Assessment;
- Minimum one-year work experience in the former 10 years;
- In your education field or training profession, and
- In a qualified work in NOC A, B, 0.
- Get suitable licensure in Saskatchewan if your field so wants it, as the authorities will not proceed with an application without the licensure.
- Have settlement funds proof and a settlement plan.
- Pay a non-refundable application fee of $300 online.
Saskatchewan Express Entry Sub-Category Requirements
Applicants from Canada’s outside or with Canadian legal status can be eligible for the Saskatchewan express entry sub-category, provided they are not immigrant applicants.
Moreover, aspirants must:
- Have an Express Entry Pool profile with profile number and job seeker validation code;
- Score at least 60 points on the SINP points valuation grid;
- Offer valid language test results from a chosen testing agency matching those in the Express Entry profile;
- Have accomplished one year of post-secondary education, training, or internship similar to the Canadian education system. You must have got a diploma, certificate, or degree.
- Degrees and diplomas got outside of Canada subject to an Educational Credential Assessment;
- Have a minimum of one of the following experience necessities in your field of education or training job:
1. Work experience of one year in the past 10 years in a skilled profession (non-trades);
2. Work experience of two years in a skilled trade in the last five years; or
3. Work experience of one year in Canada in the last three years (trades and non-trades).
- Have work experience in a high-skilled, qualified occupation in NOC A, B, 0.
- Get suitable licensure in Saskatchewan where your occupation is regulated or a skilled trade. For skilled trades, a credential is mandatory from the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission.
- Have settlement funds proof and a settlement plan.
- Pay a non-refundable application fee of $300 online.
