In a recent draw through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program, Manitoba has issued 278 Letters of Advice to Apply to Canada immigration applicants. The September 8 draw saw LAAs issued through three Manitoba PNP streams. Manitoba Skilled Workers obtained 217 LAAs, with the least ranked entrants scoring 616 points. International Education Stream candidates obtained 41 LAAs. Through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, with a least score of 703, the leftover 20 LAAs went to Skilled Workers Overseas applicants.
Manitoba assured that 76 of the 278 candidates had applicable Express Entry IDs and occupation seeker validation codes. Scroll down below to know all the streams detailed requirements featured in this draw. In the record of the MPNP, this was the 155th draw.

Skilled Worker Overseas Stream Eligibility
The Skilled Worker Overseas Stream (SWO) contains both a committed Canada Express Entry Pathway and a straight provincial pathway. It is targeted at international skilled workers with Manitoba’s in-Demand Occupations required skills and training. The main concern is given to candidates and partners with close family connections, along with the language skill, training and experience to find jobs swiftly.

a) Manitoba Express Entry Pathway
The Manitoba Express Entry Pathway is for international candidates qualified under another MPNP stream, who also meet Express Entry criteria and have an active Express Entry profile. Applicants require skills, training and experience in one of Manitoba’s In-Demand Occupations, and a strong family connection to the region.

b) Human Capital Pathway
The Human Capital Pathway for international skilled workers with skills, training and experience in one of Manitoba’s In-Demand Occupations. Candidates must show ability to find a job soon after they enter in Manitoba.
International Education Stream Requirements
The International Education Stream (IES) is committed to international graduates from Manitoba colleges and universities. Under IES, before applying for an MPNP nomination applicants are no longer requisite to work for six months in their field. It has three pathways:
1) Career Employment Pathway
Eligibility needs include:
- Completed a one-year or longer course from a qualified post-secondary Manitoba institute within three years of application submission.
- Have a permanent occupation offer in a Manitoba In-Demand occupation associated to the completed degree
- Manitoba Resident
2) Graduate Internship Pathway
Even without a job offer in the territory, Master’s and Doctoral degree possessors who have completed Mitacs Accelerate or Elevate internships can apply for nomination through internships
3) Student Entrepreneur Pathway
Eligibility requirements include:
- Completed a two-year or longer course from a qualified post-secondary Manitoba institution
- Six months of commerce operation knowledge in Manitoba
- Manitoba Resident since graduation.
- No particular least personal net worth requirement
