British Columbia has conducted the latest draws, issuing a minimum of 224 invitations through numerous British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program streams.
The August 16 draws were divided into two categories general and targeted.
The general draw included tech occupations; 177 invitations were issued through five BC PNP streams for international graduates and skilled workers. Least scores ranged from 78 to 132 points.
An additional 26 invitations were issued to skilled workers and international graduates scoring a minimum of 60 points in a draw targeting Early Childhood Educators and Assistants under NOC 4214, in the targeted draw.
Healthcare workers targeted draw saw 15 invitations issued to skilled workers, international graduates and entry-level and semi-skilled workers, also with the least score of 60 points.
An extra 5 invitations went to entry-level and semi-skilled workers targeted exclusively at Healthcare Assistants under NOC 3413, with the lowest score of 60.
Targeted invitations final set goes to skilled workers and international graduates under NOCs 3114 and 3213 for veterinarians, and animal health technologists and veterinary technicians correspondingly, with the least score of 60. The number of invitations was scheduled as ‘less than 5’ to guard the invited people’s identity.
