Ontario is one of the provinces in Canada which is well-known for various occupations and labour markets. Ontario releases its PNP draw periodically by inviting Express Entry candidates. So, on February 23, 773 Express Entry candidates for its provincial nomination program (PNP) from the targeted occupation were invited by Ontario. Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued its invitation to the Express Entry candidates who are suitable for Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP) of Express Entry. The highlight of this draw is that the Ontario provincial government has removed the CRS cap for the invited candidates. It means Ontario has set only the minimum CRS score for this draw.
Express Entry candidates would get a maximum CRS score of 600 points by applying for the provincial nomination. So, this CRS score will be added to their base score and will be sufficient for the candidate to apply for the Invitation To Apply (ITA) for Canada’s permanent residence.
Thus, Ontario has reduced the maximum range of CRS scores between 455 and 600, which is more than sufficient for the Express Entry candidates to get the ITA. Aramvisas is the best immigration consultants in Chennai who can assist you by solving all your immigration issues.
Ontario’s PNP draw requirements:
As Ontario has relaxed over the CRS score in the latest PNP draw, candidates must meet specific needs. They are,
- The invited candidates should have a profile in the Express Entry system.
- They should have at least one year of experience in the targeted occupation issued by the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
Hence, we can consider the current Ontario’s PNP draw as the highest HCP draw of the year, with only 145 points of difference from the minimum and maximum CRS scores. Express Entry profile candidates created between February 22, 2021, to April 29, 2021, are only invited in this particular draw.
Ontario has also invited eight candidates from the Foreign Worker stream to support the labour market. These candidates did not have a profile in the Express Entry system; instead they submitted Express of Interest (EOI) for the occupation. This invitation entirely focused on immigrating skilled refugees.
Hence, Canada plans to welcome more than 80,000 immigrants in the 2022-2024 immigration levels plan. Thus, get all the latest updates and news from Aramvisas – the best immigration consultants in Bangalore.
