Manitoba province has issued its first occupation-specific invitations as part of a draw including a total of 583 invites for Canada immigration via the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program.
This draw was held on February 23rd and saw LAAs issued via three MPNP streams.
A batch of 207 invitations with a minimum score of 615 went to Skilled Workers in Manitoba applicants now hired in Manitoba in one of the below professions:
- Transport and transit drivers (7330)
- Retail and wholesale trade managers (6002)
- Nursing and allied health professionals (3130)
- Assisting occupations in education (4310)
- Secondary, elementary, and kindergarten school teachers (4122)
- Hairstylists and estheticians (6321)
- Automotive service technicians (7241)
- Paraprofessional occupations in legal, social, community, and education services (4220)
- Retail salespersons and non-technical wholesale trade sales and account representatives (6410)
- Office support and court services occupations (1410)
In the meantime, Skilled Workers in Manitoba applicants in all professions received 298 LAAs, with the lowest score of 693 points.
International Education Stream candidates received 51 LAAs.
The outstanding 27 LAAs went to Skilled Workers Overseas applicants through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, with the least score of 721.
In a specific draw on February 24, Manitoba issued 13 invitations as part of its special immigration actions for Ukraine.
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be Ukraine a citizen;
- Have a lowest of CLB 4 in every language band;
- Have recognized connection to Manitoba (close relative, family-like, municipal, earlier employment or education in Manitoba);
- Have a legal language test; and
- Score a minimum of 60 points according to MPNP valuation standards.
