Manitoba province held a new Expression of Interest (EOI) draw and issued 566 letters of advice to apply. This draw was conducted on March 23, 2023, and it is the 173rd EOI draw of this province. The invitations were issued through three streams of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
Moreover, when it comes to the skilled worker stream, 266 Letters of Advice to Apply were issued for occupation-specific selection. The candidates with a minimum score of 612 were invited to apply. In addition, jobs under the following occupations were considered in this draw:
- Technical trades and transportation officers and controllers
- Mail and message distribution, other transport equipment operators, and related maintenance workers
- Helpers and laborers and other transport drivers, operators, and laborers
- Machine operators, assemblers, and inspectors in processing, manufacturing, and printing
- Laborers in processing, manufacturing, and utilities
In all occupations, all profiles that were not chosen for the occupation-specific selection were considered for the draw. As well, 200 Letters of Advice to Apply were issued to the claimants with a minimum score of 672.
In the international education stream, 52 candidates who all meet the eligibility requirements of the International Education Stream received invitations.
For the skilled worker overseas, profiles that acknowledged being directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative received 48 invitations.
82 Letters of Advice to Apply were issued to the applicants who declared an applicable express entry profile number and job seeker validation code of the total 566 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in the draw.
