IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada), British Columbia, and Quebec held draws this week.
All the Canadian provinces and territories have the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in place to offer economic immigration applicants who are most likely to successfully participate in the labor and economy of their regions, apart from Quebec.
Provinces regularly conduct draws that are designed for candidates having specific, in-demand human capital qualities. Few of the PNP draws, for instance, ask candidates to apply for a nomination based on their occupation or whether they are overseas graduate students from the province.
