IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has conducted another large express entry draw continuously for the third time within 2 weeks. This draw was held on 29th March 2023 and issued 7,000 invitations to the candidates with the minimum CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score of 481.
In the last 14 days, Canada has invited 21,000 candidates to apply now. Also, these three draws are the largest all-program draws ever and featured 7,000 invitations. The second largest draw was held in February 2021, which was conducted during a pandemic and saw 27,322 Canadian Experience Class applicants invited.
In the year 2023, this recent draw is the 5th all-program express entry draw. As well, it is the 245th express entry draw that is conducted at 13:44:01 UTC on March 29, 2023.
Till now, Canada has issued 38,260 Invitations to Apply (ITA) in 2023.
Those claimants qualified for a minimum of one of the three express entry programs FSWP (Federal Skilled Worker Program), the CEC (Canadian Experience Class), and the FSTP (Federal Skilled Trades Program), can upload their profile onto the portal of IRCC.
This recent draw saw the tie-breaking rule executed on 14th February 2023. If more than one aspirant has the minimum CRS score, then the cut-off is depending on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles. Likewise, candidates have a 60 days window to submit their express entry applications, which will be processed in the standard of six months.
They obtain a CRS score based on a range of human capital standards, such as their age, education, language skills, and work experience.
Usually, IRCC holds Express Entry draws every two weeks and issues ITAs to the highest-scoring applicants. In current months, though, IRCC has not stuck to an expected draw agenda.
