On 4th April 2023, Ontario issued ITA (Invitations to Apply) to the 6 applicants who may be eligible for the federal Economic Mobility Pathways Project under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.

What Is a Foreign Labor Stream Job Offer from an Employer?
The Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream will provide overseas employees with a job offer in a capable occupation and the chance to apply to Canada permanent residency in Ontario. Your employment offer should be for a specialised position in the National Occupational Classification’s TEER classes 0, 1, 2, or 3. Both Canadians and foreign workers from abroad are eligible for this route.
Before submitting an online application to be selected by the Ontario government for PR, you need to enrol in the OINP’s Expression of Interest System and receive a call to apply. The last step is to apply to the Canadian government through IRCC. They will have the final say when selecting candidates for Canadian PR status.

- The position is immediately necessary for the employer’s business
- Work-based in Ontario
