Here is some wonderful news for everyone who would like to visit Canada. It opens up to fully vaccinated tourists who have completed both doses of any one of the accepted vaccines in the country. Every Canada immigration office in Chennai is preparing itself for the surge in applications for Visa after this news. This decision was taken by the Government on September 7th, 2021.
The high vaccination rates and decrease in the daily cases have contributed to many relaxations in Canada. The country opening up to tourists has become one of the major steps in recent times. Now, there would be a lot of surge in visitors and subsequent inflow of foreign currencies into the economy.
List of accepted vaccines
Any person who wishes to travel to Canada should have completed the full course of vaccination. The Government has listed the accepted vaccines and will allow people who have taken both doses in any one of those vaccines. Following are the set of approved vaccines:
- The full dose of Pfizer, AstraZeneca, or Moderna (or)
- One dose of Janssen Vaccine
Even though other vaccines are accepted all over the world, Canada is not approving those at present.
Apart from these conditions, the tourists should have had the last dose of the vaccine fourteen days before they enter the country.
Only a month ago, Canada allowed fully vaccinated permanent residents and American citizens. This measure paved the way for more relaxation and helped the country prepare for the intake of additional visitors.
