British Columbia conducted a new draw and issued 166+ immigration invitations to the applicants.
The latest BC PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) draw was held on March 19, 2024. This draw was divided into two groups general and targeted for issuing invitations.
Moreover, when it comes to the general draw, for the Skilled Worker, the minimum score is 125, and the Skilled Worker – EEBC option has the lowest score of 125. Also, the international graduate has the lowest score of 125, and the International Graduate – EEBC option also has the lowest score of 125. Apart from that, the Entry Level and Semi-Skilled have the lowest score of 98. Furthermore, a total of 88 candidates were invited to the general draw.
In the targeted draw, 4 different groups of professionals were invited from the Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option) stream. 27 applicants with a minimum score of 80 from the childcare occupations were invited. Likewise, 21 candidates with a minimum score of 85 were invited from the construction category. Apart from that, from the healthcare occupation, 30 invitations were issued to the candidates with the lowest score of 80. In addition, from the veterinary care occupation, less than 5 invitations were issued to the candidates with the lowest score of 80.
