Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program is a federal immigration program that supports employers to recruit skilled overseas workers and international graduates to meet the labour requirements. Also, this is a new employer-driven program that builds on the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program’s success.

This program is further a pathway for the PR who wants to work and live in one of the four Canada’s below Atlantic provinces:

• New Brunswick
• Nova Scotia
• Prince Edward Island

Designation

• Not violate the IRPA or IRPR.

• Strive to take the free intercultural skill training, unless you’re relieved by the region.

Things To Remember About Designation

• You only have to apply once to be chosen by a province. You don’t need to apply for each applicant.
• You can apply for designation even before you find an applicant.
• You must be designated in the territory where the applicant will be working. If the applicant will be working in numerous provinces, you must be designated in all those regions.
• You can’t hire an applicant under the Atlantic Immigration Program if they won’t be working in an Atlantic region.

Find A Claimant 

You can hire skilled workers and global students who have graduated from a standard Atlantic Canada post-secondary institute. Though the Atlantic Immigration Program doesn’t match applicants with jobs, you may find an aspirant on your own or they may approach you.

Have To Meet The Program Requirements 

For hiring applicants, the Atlantic Immigration Program has its necessities. Thus, you should make sure your job offers and the claimant meets all the program requirements. As an employer, don’t forget to check that the occupation you provide is:

• Full-time Job
• Non-seasonal Job
• Minimum 1 year in time (1 year from the duration the applicant becomes a permanent resident) if you’re offering a NOC 0, a, or b-level occupation
• If you’re offering a NOC c level job, then it will be a permanent position
• At the same skill level as, or higher than, the work experience that will be eligible the applicant for the position, except they are a global student who has graduated from a recognized

Submit An Authorization Application To The Province
