Applying Process
First, you should create an Express Entry profile to apply for Alberta Immigration under this programme. Express Entry provides the application management system for the Federal Skilled Trades Program, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.
If you are eligible for Express Entry, you will obtain a score depending on the Comprehensive Ranking System. The factors that all contribute to your total score include your age, education, employment record, command of the English or French language, and others.
If you don’t want to apply for a provincial nomination and then use the Express Entry pathway to apply for immigration. However, the PNP permits Express Entry applicants with lower CRS scores to be rewarded an extra 600 points.
The candidate can then apply for Canadian permanent residence after receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from a later Express Entry lottery.
