In the latest Labour Force Survey, the results revealed that employment levels peaked and touched pre-pandemic numbers. The country only had a difference of 156,000 employees between August 2021 and February 2020.
This survey has shown that the economic conditions in Canada are steadily increasing. The recent growth in the job market can be attributed to the country’s borders opening up to fully vaccinated travelers.
Significant growth in different sectors

The survey has stated that the unemployment levels were at their lowest at 7.1% since the pandemic hit the country. There was also a drop in long-term unemployment by 7% in August. However, it was still 120% above pre-pandemic levels.
